Heading south from the tip was gonna be an adventure. We knew that.
It started with a two hour wait in line for the ferry to cross the Jardine River…..
Yay.
But we knew we had to give the OTT (The Old Telegraph Track) a go, at least part of it. Its a hard core 4WD track, with many creek crossings, rough sections, soft sections and heaps of dust.
We weren’t going to risk taking Birdie (the caravan) through some of the harder and deeper creeks, like Gunshot and Nolans, but we did make a stop to watch some other idiots get bogged and damage their egos in the process.
