We have set out on an Australian Outback adventure in our 4WD (Rex) and pop-top caravan (Birdie).

Jonah (9) and Ahvie (6.5) are our boys. They have done plenty of camping, but this is their first outback trip and will be away from school for about 12 weeks, or more. Or less.

Could you let me know how successful your positive pressures snorkel was at keeping out the dust.

It definitely made a notable difference. But I cant say it was 100% effective because we lost the seal and developed a really large gap between the rear wall and the roof cover dust got through it even with duct tape!. We weren’t able to deal with this until we got to a Clark rubber store to replace the seal and by then we were back on the bitumen.
The video shows how effective it is at redirecting air inside the cabin. If you add a larger scoop you will get even more air pressure.
